This concept is at the core of my design and build / repair philosophy. I build, upgrade and repair instruments for the players comfort and enjoyment, in a beautiful way.
Nikau Guitars workshop is in the lower Kaimai ranges, near Tauranga - a great escape from the rat race and a perfect place to focus on guitar craft.
About me
At a young age I was lucky enough to play some quality guitars. I could understand the difference it made to my playing experience. I've been chasing that thrill ever since. I'm passionate about delivering a great playing experience. My favourite moment is when customers smile the first time they play their instrument once it's left my hands.
Nikau custom guitars are an expression of 20+ years of design experience and 30+ years of playing experience. I'm driven to deliver instruments that you can't help but pick up, inspiring your unique sound.
